I’ve known Jillian Svendsen for many years.  She taught art here in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  She organized an art club that drew youth into all kinds of interesting community projects.  She was a member of my church.  We worked together on a wonderful confirmation project, a project that involved the entire congregation in creating a ceramic waterfall.  I had the honor of doing her wedding.  We decided that we’d collaborate on “The Other Night I Had a Dream”, a project that took nearly two years to complete.

So when I did a google search to grab a promotional picture and found her web page, you would have thought that this would come as no surprise.
